Empower others with clearly marked out goals, and make them achievable. Defining the metrics of each goal where there is an undeniable finish line increases our engagement

Things To Think About

  1. Have team and individual goals align with company goals to achieve overall success
  2. Provide a target date for all goals, considering how much time it will take to complete. It's also useful to outline what should be achieved halfway through
  3. Approach writing goals with a positive attitude, and be specific about what you want to accomplish
  4. When meeting 1:1 about goals, managers and employees should come to the table with suggestions
  5. Consider what the new remote working environment means for goals
  6. Recognize the difference between a goal and the system of achieving that goal
